Waverly Community Church (WCC) respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to information you give us on this website.

Forms

When you fill out a form (visit RSVP, baptism interest, prayer request, volunteer, small group or contact), your answers are stored privately on our own website. They are visible only to WCC staff and pastors who are signed in. We do not sell or share your information, and we do not send it to any third-party service.

Text messages (SMS)

If you choose to receive text messages from WCC, we collect your mobile number, your name (if you give it), the date and place you agreed, and your opt-out status. We use this only to send you church information such as service reminders, event notices and ministry updates.

We do not share your mobile number or your text-message opt-in or consent with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not sell it. Your number is processed by our messaging provider, Twilio, only so that messages can be delivered. Your number and consent are kept on our own website and are visible only to WCC staff and pastors who are signed in.

Joining is optional and is never a condition of attending or taking part in church life. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. See our Terms of Service for the full text-message terms.

Prayer requests

Prayer requests are read by our pastors and prayer partners. Please do not include details you would not want a small group of church leaders to know.

Third-party content

Some pages load content from other providers: fonts from Google Fonts, maps from Google Maps, and message videos from YouTube (using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode). These providers may collect standard technical information, such as your IP address, under their own policies. Giving is handled by ChurchTrac at wcc.churchtrac.com, which has its own privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Children

We do not knowingly collect information from children through this site. Parents and guardians are welcome to contact us with questions.

Questions or removal requests

If you would like your information removed, contact us and we will delete it.
